The mission of the Next Generation Learning Center is to be the premier early childcare center in the Fort Lauderdale community providing a learning environment that is safe, healthy, nurturing, multi-cultural, creative and fun.  Because we are a ministry of First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale and are biblically-based, we strive to exemplify the Christ-like qualities of love, joy, patience, kindness and self-control while laying a well-balanced foundation for future learning.

Lisa Milam

Director Lisa Milam was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale.  She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Child Development and has been working in the field as both a teacher and director for many years.  Lisa has two adult children with her husband, Lou.  Lisa’s favorite things to during her leisure time are spend quality time with her family and pets, as well as relaxing while boating on the Florida waterways.
